As Seen on Socials: Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day

This past Saturday, SIUE’s School of Engineering lit up with energy as more than 215 students (grades 6–12) dove into hands-on activities—from building spaghetti towers and balloon-powered cars to programming from scratch! A huge shout-out to keynote speaker Angela Heise, SIUE alumna and Microsoft Worldwide Public Sector CVP, for inspiring our future engineers. Kudos to the Society of Women Engineers and Ameren for making it a day to remember!
