Description of the Program: The Scholarship and Research Endowment will create a permanent and lasting assurance of support for our graduate students. Its creation provides funding to outstanding students and rewards them for their academic excellence across all areas of scholarly activities.

Existing Programs
Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Center Development Fund 3065: Provides funds to advance science education efforts for students at SIUE and for the community of educators in Southern Illinois that SIUE supports through the STEM Center
Annette and Henry Baich Research Endowment Fund 8404: Provides financial support for SIUE faculty conducting research in the basic sciences
Emeriti Faculty Development Fund 3787: Provides financial support for the activities of the Emeriti Faculty Society, which supports faculty-led initiatives at SIUE such as departmental colloquia, faculty exchanges and scholars-in-residence
Hoppe Faculty Research Endowment Fund 8310: Provides financial support for the Hoppe Faculty Research Award, which is given to an established SIUE faculty member to recognize and support an individual program of research or creative activities
Vaughnie Lindsay Research Professorship Endowment Fund 8401: Provides financial support for the Vaughnie Lindsay New Investigator Award, which is given to a junior SIUE faculty member to recognize and support an individual program of research or creative activities
Graduate Studies and Research Development Fund 4048: Provides unrestricted development funds for the SIUE Graduate School to support graduate studies and scholarly activities across SIUE
