Hanover Research - Navigating Changes in the Federal Funding Landscape
Posted February 19, 2025
Disciplines: ALL
Along with our members and colleagues across the higher education community, Hanover is closely monitoring developments within U.S. federal agencies to understand new changes in the funding landscape — along with potential opportunities.
In this new environment, Hanover remains your collaborative partner in helping to position your grant proposals for success, and we will continue to provide tailored guidance reflecting the best available intelligence for grant seekers. To that end, this year we will be working with many of our members to understand funding alternatives for significant initiatives and to explore new opportunities that arise.
During this time of rapid change at the federal level, many of our members are renewing their focus on non-federal opportunities. The resources below may be of assistance:
- NEW: Grants Calendar for Non-Federal Research
- On-demand webinar: Non-federal research funding
- Sign up to receive our grant alerts and calendars for new and emerging funding opportunities.
In addition, many of our members are finding this to be a good time to revisit the foundational elements of successful grantsmanship and empower all faculty to become proactive grantseekers. Through your current partnership, you can access an on-demand LMS platform designed to upskill your grantseekers on a range of critical grant development competencies. Using your institutional referral code for access (contact your Hanover account team if you’re unsure what your code is), head to the Grants Learning Center for our Grants Essentials courses and brush up on:
- Understanding grants basics
- Developing long-term grantseeking strategies
- Exploring innovative funding pathways
- Crafting compelling proposals
We’re here to help. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to our team with any questions as we navigate the shifting landscape of grant funding together.
