The Physics Club is made up of SIUE undergraduate and graduate students who have a general interest in physics, astronomy, or related sciences, and who like to get together for science-related and other activities. It is not necessary to be a physics major or minor to join the Physics Club or to come to the club's meetings and activities.
Activities of the Physics Club in the past have included picnics, games, star parties, Super Bowl parties, watching science and science-fiction movies, trivia nights, book sales, bake sales, tutoring high-school students, participating in SIUE events such as Springfest, and trips to places of scientific interest such as the St. Louis Science Center, Argonne National Laboratory, and FermiLab.
If you are interested in the Physics Club or its activities, please contact Physics Club President Zach Hartwick at [email protected], or Faculty Adviser Dr. Jack Glassman at [email protected].
