Welcome to the Department of Chemistry at SIU Edwardsville. We offer Bachelor’s (B.A. & B.S.) degree and a Master’s (M.S.) degree. We take pride in our excellent undergraduate education with opportunities for undergraduate research. The department offers American Chemical Society certified B.S. degrees in Chemistry and in Biochemistry. Our graduate program offers cutting-edge research opportunities for a thesis-based degree. We are a large, non-Ph.D. granting department. Many of our faculty have secured external funding and publish regularly.
