Research Interests/Bio: Helena Gurfinkel is a scholar of Victorian and Edwardian literature (especially the novel), gender (especially masculinities), and literary critical theory (especially psychoanalysis). Her current work focuses on Oscar Wilde and is extending into philosophy and the visual arts. Her additional teaching and research interests include popular culture, academic publishing (especially open access), and writing.
She is the editor of PLL: Papers on Language and Literature.
